*Our Story*

Nutrislice was founded in 2011 by Brian Crapo, Mike Craig, and Ben Roberts. The idea was born out of a desire to make the foodservice experience more engaging for customers, while also simplifying work for foodservice teams.

The company started by focusing on K-12 school districts, where there was a pressing need for better communication tools to showcase menus, nutritional information, and allergen alerts. Nutrislice quickly gained traction, providing an innovative digital solution that replaced traditional paper menus and static websites.

The founders realized the potential for growth in the enterprise market and shifted their focus to providing menu, signage, and ordering solutions for larger organizations in adjacent foodservice markets. Nutrislice’s user-friendly interface, powerful integrations, and engaging customer tools set it apart from competitors, leading to rapid adoption by organizations in higher education, corporate dining, healthcare, and hospitality.

The company continues to innovate, and has expanded its offerings to include e-ink labels and ordering. Today, Nutrislice is a leading digital foodservice platform, empowering over 30,000 locations around the world to digitally transform their operations and drive customer engagement.
